thanks Mr. Jeff Bezos shinny head.
i could literally spend hrs shopping for most random stuff i can find in this entire world
(just don't control which book gets sold or not.. it is not your decision. your job is to simply provide the access..)

@cnbc I’d love to fill you in on more that you’re missing out on because of what the big wigs said. DFW7 is considered the “wild Wild West” in America and I can tell you it’s deplorable. I stayed as long as I did because of my associates. Not because of the company. Especially when they refused me worker’s compensation when I blew my knee out. We have ambulances multiple times a day.

Lol a wearblable tracker that tells how productive you are is not a "safety device". It's so the employee has a constant reminder that if they slack off, they'll be fired and to let them know they're being constantly monitored. We need better standards on the psychological aspect of jobs. It should be illegal to constantly track a workers productivity. What ever happened to setting a goal for the worker and expecting them to accomplish it without tracking every little move they make?

Do you guys realize that these proud workers are being tricked in to training the very AI that will replace them?
I dont know if they realize that or not. 2000 workers training amazons AI to replace their own jobs. Smart, efficient, but a little slimey on amazons part.

I honestly don't mind waiting two days. In fact, sometimes if I really don't NEED the item I use the "no rush" shipping which is several days. I honestly wish they'd just let people earn a livable wage and NOT have to be written up just to go to a bathroom. I work at Target who also gives $15/hr, holiday AND covid bonuses, and don't write people up no matter what their productivity is. If they aren't productive in one department they're sent to another. I work at Target's one-day pickup/shipping department while putting myself through med school and it's very accommodating. In fact, they build in breaks for us so we can go rest! I'm not trying to advertise another capitalist company bc I know Target definitely has its flaws, but if we're looking at the bigger villain I definitely think it's amazon because they can definitely afford safer environments, more workers, and higher wages, they just DON'T do it.
